Jaw pain (TMJ problems)
Xeomin for the jaw muscles to alleviate TMJ (temporomandibular joint) dysfunction. TMJ dysfunction is often associated with symptoms of jaw clenching, teeth grinding, jaw clunking popping or locking, as well as headaches.
Xeomin is $12 per unit. * Xeomin is dosed the same as Botox brand (one unit of Xeomin is equal to one unit of Botox)

About Me
My name is Adora and I have been a clinical PA (Physician Assistant) since 2017.
I am proud to be a licensed provider with nearly a decade of experience performing advanced procedures. My extensive knowledge of anatomy and general medicine gives me an edge that I guarantee you won't see at your typical med spas around town. What makes my practice unique, is that I offer services for clients in the comfort of their home.
Neurotoxin muscle injections are SAFE and EFFECTIVE options for issues such as migraines, TMJ dysfunction, and cervical dystonia (abnormally tight neck muscles). Oftentimes seeing a specialist for these conditions can take months, and they generally come with high fees for the office visit, in addition to the cost of the injections.
After struggling for years with my own neck and jaw issues, I feel your pain. I understand how frustrating and emotionally draining chronic pains are. Its a journey and it takes work, but I'm here to try to help you.
My botox and filler certification training was completed with the AAFE (American Academy of Facial Esthetics) which is a national company that offers courses taught by licensed medical professionals (doctors, dentists, PAs, and NPs). This certification ensures you are receiving treatments by someone who has done extensive evidence based training.

Our Neurotoxin of choice: XEOMIN
Nowadays, we tend to call all neurotoxins "botox", kind of like using the term "bandaid" for any sticky bandage. Botox is a specific brand, just like Bandaid is a specific brand, but most people tend to use the names interchangeably when referring to the product itself.
There are a variety of neurotoxin brands on the market such as Xeomin, Botox, Jeaveau, Dysport.
So, why do we use Xeomin? Let's dive in !
1. Xeomin (incobotulinum toxin A) is the purified form of botulinum toxin, meaning it contains no added proteins.
2. The added proteins in other brands are what the body can develop antibodies towards, thereby neutralizing the effects. This can often be why individuals require more and more toxin units over the years, or why it doesn't last as long over time. By NOT having these proteins, Xeomin has the potential to last longer and have less chance of resistance over time !
3. Xeomin is much less delicate of a product (compared to Botox) and more stable for transport- meaning it is the TOX OF CHOICE for mobile services.
4. Xeomin "kicks in" at different times for every individual, but like any toxin, you'll notice the full effect at 14 days.
